were selected using stratified random sampling technique from five of the six schools in the college. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire with a reliability co-efficient of 0.89. Data collected were analyzed using frequency counts, simple percentages and t-test analysis. The results showed that gender difference has no significance effect in the extent to which General Studies Education students utilizes the internet facilities for private studies and that they have sufficient access to the use
